We'll board the coach this morning with one thought in mind...SHOP! SHOP! SHOP! We'll travel to Kittery, Maine...a "shopper's dream." Our first stop will be at the NH State Liquor Store #38 (located on the traffic circle by the hotel) where you can stock up on potent potables at a discount! Next we'll head to the Miracle Mile of Savings which lines Route 1 with 13 malls. With many outlet stores, great food options available and the Kittery Trading Post, you will see why Kittery draws folks from New England and beyond! Low on crowds and traffic, this tour can be a nice pre-Christmas break. For those that have “been there, done that” we will also offer a shuttle into downtown Portsmouth for a more boutique shopping experience. NEW for 2025: our accommodations tonight are at the Hampton Inn Kittery (207-439-0751). Discover the beauty and history of Maine from this new Hampton Inn & Suites. Located at the 'Gateway to Maine,' the hotel is just steps from shopping outlets, restaurants, and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Amenities include an indoor pool and free wifi. The hotel is within walking distance to most of the outlets and Kittery Trading Post and the Weathervane Restaurant. We will offer two shuttles from the outlets & downtown Portsmouth back to the hotel, one at 6pm and another at 8pm. Dinner will be on your own tonight in Kittery or Portsmouth. Your evening is free to relax after a day of bargain hunting!

Sun., November 2:

A full breakfast buffet is included at the hotel this morning. Then we'll travel up to Freeport, one of the most walkable towns for shopping. It is hard to think of a name you can't find at Freeport...some of the major stores are Anne Klein Factory Store, Burberry, Jones New York, Ralph Lauren Polo, Nine West, Calvin Klein, Coach, Dooney & Burke, Timberland, and more. And the synonym for Christmas presents from Maine, L.L. Bean stands ready to send its classic merchandise throughout the world. Your shopping can be combined with a pleasant meal at one of Freeport's finest restaurants, cafes or taverns. We'll leave Freeport at 3pm with an approximate arrival in the Capital District at 9:30pm. One stop each way.
