We'll board the coach this morning with one thought in mind...SHOP! SHOP! SHOP! We'll travel to Kittery, Maine...a "shopper's dream." Our first stop will be at the NH State Liquor Store #38 (located on the traffic circle by the hotel) where you can stock up on potent potables at a discount! Next we'll head to the Miracle Mile of Savings which lines Route 1 with 13 malls. With many outlet stores, great food options available and the Kittery Trading Post, you will see why Kittery was named #1 for outlet shopping by Woman's Day magazine. Low on crowds and traffic, this tour can be a nice pre-Christmas break. Our accommodations tonight are at the Best Western Plus in Portsmouth, NH (603-436-7600), which offers a heated indoor pool, and onsite cocktail lounge. We will offer two shuttles from the outlets back to the hotel, one at 6pm and another at 8pm. Dinner will be on your own in Kittery Outlets before you return to the hotel; or you may dine or have a cocktail (on your own) at the Roundabout Diner & Lounge which is located right on the hotel property. Your evening is free to relax after a day of bargain hunting!

Sun., November 3:

A breakfast voucher is included for the Roundabout Diner. Then we'll travel up to Freeport, one of the most walkable towns for shopping. It is hard to think of a name you can't find at Freeport...some of the major stores are Anne Klein Factory Store, Burberry, Jones New York, Ralph Lauren Polo, Nine West, Calvin Klein, Coach, Dooney & Burke, Timberland, and more. And the synonym for Christmas presents from Maine, L.L. Bean stands ready to send its classic merchandise throughout the world. Your shopping can be combined with a pleasant meal at one of Freeport's finest restaurants, cafes or taverns. We'll leave Freeport at 3pm with an approximate arrival in the Capital District at 9:30pm. One stop each way.
