Friday, June 13:
We board the coach this morning excited for the fun-in-the-sun that awaits us in our fabulous coastal vacation destination - Virginia Beach, VA. Upon our arrival, we will visit the Virginia Beach Military Aviation Museum, home to one of the world’s largest collections of flying vintage military aircraft. The purpose-built airport facility includes over 50 aircraft from the World War I and World War II eras. Then we’ll continue on to our accommodations at Hyatt House Virginia Beach/Oceanfront (757-428-4200). Located directly on the famous Virginia Beach Oceanfront, this prime location puts you right in the middle of everything you will want to see or do in Virginia Beach. The hotel features free WiFi, an indoor heated pool and onsite restaurant right on the beach offering lunch and dinner daily. Dinner is included tonight at Bubba’s Seafood Restaurant where you will order off of a preset menu. After dinner, we’ll return to the hotel and your evening is then free to relax and unwind after a day of travel.
Saturday, June 14:
A full breakfast is included at your leisure at the hotel this morning.Then we will meet our local guide for a private tour of the Thoroughgood House, one of the oldest surviving homes in Virginia Beach dating back to 1719! Hear the great success story of Adam Thoroughgood, one of Virginia’s first colonists instrumental in establishing Princess Anne County. There will be time on your own in the area of the hotel for lunch and some time on your own. An early dinner is included at Bravo Cucina (menu TBA) before we head back to the Military Aviation Museum for the Flying Proms event. Proms” is short for “promenades,” and the event is an unparalleled celebration of patriotism, aviation, and entertainment under the stars! Your group will enjoy a private chalet with seating while reveling in thrilling aerial displays by WWI and WWII triplanes and biplanes, live music performed by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, and a dazzling fireworks show to conclude the evening! The chalet includes private bathrooms, unobstructed views of the fireworks and airplanes, as well as private space for our snacks (included) or alcoholic drinks (not included, cash bar).

A full breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. Today is a full day on your own to make the most of summer at the ocean!
Monday, June 16:
A full breakfast is included at the hotel this morning before we depart for home at 9am. Our approximate arrival in the Capital District is 6pm. Stops will be made each way.
