Celebrating 43 years of their Haunted Happenings, the largest Halloween celebration in the World! Parties, parades, vendor fairs, walking tours, museums, attractions, and special events fill the streets all October long. Salems connection to Halloween begins with the tragic events that unfolded during the Salem Witch Trials. The 19 innocent victims who lost their lives in 1692 were not witches, they were only so accused due to Puritan beliefs of the time. In Salem, MA everyone dresses up and gets into the spirit so we encourage our passengers to do the same. Of course if you'd rather not come in costume we understand, participation is not mandatory. Lets get Spooky in Salem!
