The 2025 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is a Norway Spruce tree from right here in East Greenbush, NY, donated by the Russ family.  The tree will arrive at Rockefeller Center on November 8.  It will be decorated with over 50,000 multi-colored, energy-efficient LED lights and topped with a Swarovski star. The lighting ceremony will take place during the live broadcast of "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 7pm-10pm.  Enjoy the afternoon in NYC followed by the lighting ceremony. 

The tree will remain on display until mid-Jan. 2026, after which it will be milled into lumber for Habitat for Humanity.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

• There will be a HEAVY AMOUNT OF WALKING required on this trip.

• Yankee Trails does NOT guarantee the ability to see the tree lighting in person, it may be necessary to watch on a screen from some distance away.

• Expect large crowds.

• There is NO reserved seating so expect to be standing during the lighting ceremony.

• Be sure to dress for the weather as you will be outside for the tree lighting at night.

An 8% admin fee will be added to this tour at the time of booking. This fee covers various operational costs, including record-keeping, customer support, and maintaining the web site that offers you the convenience to book tours 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
