The PHS Philadelphia Flower Show is the nations largest and longest-running horticultural event and takes place at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Included is a visit to Longwood Gardens, one of the premier botanical gardens in the United States, it consists of 1,050 acres of gardens, woodlands, and meadows in Kennett Square, PA, in the Brandywine Valley. With spring in full swing, we look forward to the floral extravaganza that we will view on our tour to the 2027 Philadelphia Flower Show. Board the coach this morning with all the other horticultural enthusiasts and you are on your way! Travel to Kennett Square, PA to delight in an afternoon at the lovely Longwood Gardens. Lunch will be on your own in their café, followed by free time to explore the property. Consisting of over 9,000 species and varieties of plants spread out across more than 1,000 acres of gardens and elaborate horticultural displays. Originally founded by Pierre du Pont in 1906, this celebrated botanical garden attracts visitors from around the globe thanks to outdoor and indoor gardens, fountain shows, and picturesque meadows and woodlands. Next we’re off to our accommodations at the Best Western Concordeville, PA (610-358-9400). Amenities include an indoor heated pool, fitness center, game room, sports court, 24-hour sundry shop, and the Concordville Bar and Grille. Delight in a wine and cheese welcome reception upon arrival; then enjoy free time to relax and unwind after check in. A buffet dinner is included at the Mendenhall Inn Restaurant tonight featuring mixed green salad, entrees of Chicken Marsala, Sliced Roast Sirloin and Tortellini, roasted potatoes, fresh steamed vegetables, fresh baked rolls and assorted mini desserts. Your evening is free.

A full breakfast buffet is included this morning at the hotel. With great expectations we board the coach this morning, looking forward to this year's stunning central feature exhibit, which brings us to the heart of floral paradise. You will witness the fanciful beauty of the enchanting floral designs enmeshed with horticultural excellence at the 2027 Philadelphia Flower Show. Spring comes alive at the Philadelphia Flower Show, one of the country’s premier floral and gardening events! Enjoy a spectacular display of breathtaking floral exhibits, creative garden designs, vibrant plants, and imaginative landscapes created by talented designers and horticulturists from around the world. Stroll through the show at your own pace and take in the incredible sights, scents, and colors of the season. Whether you are an avid gardener or simply appreciate beautiful flowers and creative displays, the Philadelphia Flower Show offers something for everyone. We will leave the flower show at 3pm with an approximate arrival in the Capital District at 8pm. One stop each way.
