Thurs., December 17:
This morning we’ll travel to Niagara Falls, Canada to enjoy the magic of the winter season. Our accommodations are at the Niagara Hotel & Suites Fallsview (905-356-1944). The Niagara Hotel & Suites Fallsview offers an outstanding location overlooking the famous Horseshoe Falls in Ontario and is within walking distance to the Niagara Falls casinos and attractions. It also has a heated indoor pool, and two onsite restaurants including Tony Roma’s Steakhouse. Our city-view rooms feature hair dryers, coffee maker and free Wi-Fi. Following check-in you will have free time on your own to explore the area before we head out with a step-on guide for a 1-hour tour of the Festival of Lights! The Winter Festival of Lights turns Niagara Falls into a winter wonderland, with over three million sparkling lights! We will end our tour at The Greg Frewin Theater for an illusion spectacular!. This show is breath-taking with a Vegas style format and features illusions that are both one of a kind and internationally renowned, performed by the International Grand Champion of Magic, Greg Frewin. A holiday buffet dinner is included featuring items such as salads, soup, stuffing, mashed potatoes and entrees like Roast Beef, Pasta with marinara, Turkey and baked whitefish with cakes, cookies and sorbet for dessert.
Fri., December 18:
A full breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. Next, take a ride on the Niagara Skywheel. Towering 53 meters over the Niagara Falls horizon, the SkyWheel delivers magnificent views of both the Horseshoe and American Falls. Each fully enclosed temperature-controlled gondola seats up to six people. Following the ride you will have the option of tempting lady luck at the Niagara Fallsview Casino, or enjoy some time on your own in the Clifton Hill Area. We will depart at 3pm with an approximate arrival in the Capital District at 9pm. One stop each way.
