Join the New York State Maple Producers Association for Maple Weekend! During two weekends of March, farms across New York State invite visitors to their sugarhouses to experience firsthand the production of pure, mouth-watering maple syrup. There is plenty of sweet fun to be had, so be sure to pack up the whole family.  We will start at Wild Hogs Sugar Shack at Maple Milk Farm in Cambridge, NY for a tour and demonstration of their maple syrup production.  Our next stop will be brunch at Rathbun's Maple Sugar House Restaurant in Whitehall, NY.  Delight in your choice of entree, 1)Pancakes or 2)French Toast each with sausage or 3)Biscuits & Sausage Gravy.  There will be time for shopping and browsing after we eat. Our final stop will be at Toad Hill Maple Farm in Athol, NY near Lake George. For over 45 years, the Galusha family has been crafting some of the finest pure Adirondack maple syrup and maple products at Toad Hill and today we'll get to see how they do it.  Enjoy samples, a tour of the large, state-of-the-art timberframe sugarhouse and a guided wagon ride over a covered bridge and through the sugarbush.  There will be time for more shopping before we depart, our sweet toothes satisfied.
