Sat. April 12th

We board the motor coach this morning and spend our day traveling south, arriving in Fredericksburg, Virginia for our first overnight at the Comfort Inn and Suites 540-891-5465. Dinner is on your own this evening at your choice of several nearby restaurants. Lunch and rest stops will be made en route to our Fredericksburg location. You are requested to pack an overnight bag for this stop as luggage handling is not available.

Sun. April 13th:

A Continental Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning prior to our departure for Myrtle Beach and our deluxe oceanfront accommodations at The Caribbean Resort, 3000 N Ocean Blvd, 855-421-6947. The Caribbean offers both indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, jacuzzi and sundeck. You will have time to settle in and relax before we’re off to our included dinner at the Chestnut Hill Restaurant. We will make a grocery store stop on our return trip to our hotel for essentials you might want to have in your suite during your stay.

Mon. April 14th

Breakfast is included at the Sea Captain’s Restaurant, right next door to our Resort every morning during our stay. Following breakfast this morning, we are off to Broadway at the Beach for exploration, shopping and browsing or you can stay at the hotel for relaxation and enjoyment of the beach, pools and resort amenities. We will return to the hotel early afternoon providing some free time at the resort before we depart for dinner and our evening’s entertainment. Dinner is included this evening at the Giant Crab where you will enjoy an all you can eat seafood buffet of Snow Crab Legs, Steamed Oysters, Calamari, Fried Oysters, Fried Flounder, Fried Shrimp, Fried Fish, Fried Scallops, Stuffed Flounder, Mahi-mahi, Pulled Pork, T Bone steaks and much more!. Following dinner we’re off to see Legends In Concert in their state of the art theater! Legends presents a lineup of tributes to today’s and yesterday’s greatest musical legends backed up by a terrific live band and dancers! Performances often include Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Prince, as well as others….. and, yes, of course, Elvis! Following the show we will return to our hotel.

Tues. April 15th:

Following breakfast this morning you may choose a free day at the resort or join an excursion for a bit of “retail therapy” and browsing at the Tanger Outlets that features a variety of brand-name and designer stores. Tanger also offers several choices for a bite of lunch at their food court before our return to the resort. You will have some relaxation and beach time before our dinner and show departure. Dinner is included tonight at the River City Café at Barefoot Landing. Tonight’s entertainment is at the new Greg Rowles Legacy Theater where exceptional live entertainment is presented by outstanding world class singers, dancers and musicians. Following the show we will return to the resort.

Wed. April 16th

Following breakfast this morning you can choose to enjoy the amenities at the resort or join our excursion to the Hollywood Wax Museum and then a stop at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and a spin on Myrtle Beach’s famous Sky Wheel. A visit to the Hollywood Wax Museum provides an opportunity for you to be “starstruck” and take that picture with some of your favorite stars. This museum is a fun journey where you will encounter some of your favorite entertainers! Leaving the Museum, we’ll drop folks at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and also provide an opportunity to ride the SKY WHEEL!! The fully enclosed gondolas provides an amazing view of all the beauty the Grand Strand provides. The Sky Wheel is an unforgettable experience that soars 20 stories above the Atlantic Ocean, a glorious experience! There will be time for shopping and grabbing a bite of lunch at the Boardwalk before returning to the resort for some free time before our departure for tonight’s adventure on the Barefoot Queen Riverboat! We’ll cruise down the Intercoastal Waterway as we enjoy our included dinner exploring Myrtle Beach from a whole new perspective. There is a musician on board to serenade as we dine and enjoy all the new vistas! Following our dinner cruise we will return to the resort.

Thurs. April 17th

Following breakfast this morning you can choose to enjoy the amenities at the resort or join our excursion to an original Myrtle Beach attraction…..Hudson’s Flea Market in Surfside Beach where, since 1975, roaming and exploring to find a treasure is just plain fun. We will return to the resort in time for you to grab a bite of lunch. Dinner is included at Joe’s Bar & Grill… then we’re off to the Alabama Theater, Bearfoot Landing for the presentation of ‘Iconic”, a show that encompasses many musical genres from Country to Rock, Broadway to Big Band Pop to Tap, Hollywood to Gospel and more. It is an evening of pure enjoyment. Following the show we will return to the hotel.

Fri. April 18th:

ollowing breakfast you will have a bit of time on your own to say your Farewells to Myrtle Beach before our departure at 9:30am. It is time for us to leave Myrtle Beach and turn north to our overnight accommodation at the Comfort Inn and Suites, Fredericksburg, VA (540-898-5550). Dinner is on your own at nearby restaurants. You are requested to pack an overnight bag for this stop as luggage handling is not available.

Sat. April 19th:

A continental breakfast is included at the hotel before we depart and head home. With so many wonderful experiences, you will have plenty to discuss along the way with new friends and old. Stops will be made on route home with an approximate arrival in the Capital District at 6pm.
