The Metropolitan Museum of Art is located on the eastern edge of Central Park, along what is known as museum mile. It has a permanent collection containing more than two million works of art, divided into nineteen curatorial departments. The main building, often referred to simply as “the Met”, is one of the world’s largest art galleries. View special exhibits such as Costume Art or The Face of Life: Modern Portraits at The Met. There are five different cafes and restaurants located within the museum (even one on the roof!) to get lunch on your own.
The bus will drop off at the museum.
The bus will depart from Bryant Park on 42nd St between 5th & 6th Ave behind the NY Public Library. You are on your own to get yourself to the park in time to depart. This can be done by walking, taxi, subway, Uber/Lyft. It's about 2 miles (45 min walk).
An 8% admin fee will be added to this tour at the time of booking. This fee covers various operational costs, including record-keeping, customer support, and maintaining the web site that offers you the convenience to book tours 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
