Halloween Murder Mystery at Villa Roma!

Fri., October 30th

We’re off to Callicoon, NY in the southwestern Catskills and Villa Roma Resort. En route we will make a stop for lunch and a bit of shopping in Woodstock, NY. Although the famous festival that borrowed the town's name actually took place about an hour west at what is now the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the spirit of the 1960s and early 1970s is still alive in Woodstock, New York. Peace, love, understanding, art, and music still reign in this quaint village nestled in the Catskill Mountains. There are plenty of unique shops to browse and flavorful eateries for everyone's taste. We will then continue on to the Villa Roma (845-887-4880) and will check in upon arrival. Every room comes with its own coffee maker, iron and ironing board, blow dryer, phone, alarm clock, and of course, free wifi. Resort amenities include: a complete schedule of daytime activities, an indoor sports complex with bocce, shuffleboard & ping pong, an indoor pool & Jacuzzi and a fully equipped fitness center. You will have free time to relax & freshen up before the welcome cocktail party. Tonight, put your detective hat on as we jump right into our murder mystery with the first scene taking place during our welcome cocktail party featuring hot & cold hors d'oeuvres and a one hour open bar (included). Dinner is included this evening where the second scene will occur. After dinner, enjoy the nightly entertainment included.

Sat., October 31st

A full breakfast is included this morning during which we’ll enjoy our third scene. Your day is free to enjoy the amenities of the resort. Lunch is included today. Tonight there’s a cocktail reception with a cash bar where we will have our fourth scene in the mystery. Following this scene, a Halloween costume contest will take place, dress to impress! The fifth scene will take place during our included dinner tonight. There will be music & entertainment again to enjoy this evening.

Sun., November 1st

The final scene will take place at breakfast (included) this morning. One lucky guest will win an overnight trip for two to the Villa Roma, should they solve the crime! There will be more time to enjoy the amenities at the resort before our departure at 2pm with an approximate arrival in the Capital District at 4pm. Non-stop each way.
