The Gypsy Vanner Horse is surprisingly athletic, smart, willing and retains what it learns very well. In addition, the Vanner has an almost unflappable demeanor. The combination of ability, brains and calm make the Vanner a candidate for any number of equestrian pursuits such as driving, English and western riding, jumping, pleasure and trail.
This private 2 hour tour starts with a 1 hour informative lecture that provides an introduction to the breed and its history, the unique British Gypsy culture and where the breed is today given by Dennis Thompson. After learning all about the History, You’ll be invited to create a memory of your Gypsy Gold tour with a photo of yourself and one of our beautiful Gypsy Vanner Horses to share with your friends. You’ll finish up your tour with a guided walking tour of the farm where you’ll meet the stallions, mares, foals and various other animals loved at Gypsy Gold. You are welcome to bring your own horse treats or carrots! At the end of the tour, we will board the bus for a short drive to the World Equestrian Center for lunch on your own.

Return Information:
We will depart the festival at 8:00pm with an approximate arrival in the Villages at 2:00pm. Non-stop each way.
