Sunday, August 16th:

Yankee Trails welcomes you as we board the coach and travel east to the Northeast Coast. We will travel to our accommodations for the next two nights at the Boothbay Harbor Inn (207-633-6302). The Inn is located right on the water in downtown Boothbay Harbor, and is adjacent to the famous footbridge, which provides easy access to the center of town. Please note: This is a NON SMOKING property. You’ll have time to relax at the hotel or take a stroll and explore downtown before we savor dinner and at a local favorite. The rest of your evening is free.

Monday, August 17th:

A full breakfast buffet is included at the Inn’s restaurant this morning. Next it is time for a Boothbay Harbor Puffin Cruise. This special cruise is a magnificent "Seafari" for all nature lovers with seals, blue heron, an occasional whale and other coastal wildlife along the way. You will sail around Eastern Egg Rock where the puffins congregate and see the funny-faced birds fishing, flying and sunning themselves. After the cruise you are on your own to have lunch and relax or explore more of Boothbay Harbor. Then a local guide will join you for a narrated 90 minute tour of this quaint coastal town and will show off the highlights of Boothbay Harbor and Ocean Point. This evening we will feast on a Downeast lobster bake with all the fixings. Your meal will include 1 ¼ lb. steamed Maine lobster, New England Clam Chowder, Corn on the Cob, Baby Red Potatoes, Rolls & Butter, Dessert and Soft Drinks. Meal Choices: 1 ¼ lb. Steamed Lobster,or Chicken Marsala. Please give your entrée choice to our staff when making your reservation.

Tuesday, August 18th

A full breakfast buffet is included at the Inn this morning. Then we will travel to Ogunquit for the day where you will have time on your own for shopping, lunch or just relaxing. You may also want to stroll along the lovely Marginal Way and explore Perkins Cove. We will leave at 2:30pm and continue to the Capital District with an approximate arrival at 8:30pm. One stop each way.
