Monday, December 8th

We will board the coach this morning in anticipation of tempting Lady Luck, strolling the boardwalk, touring the Victorian village, reliving the past, browsing through the shops and boutiques, and experiencing the best of the Jersey Shore. We'll leave the Capital District this morning and travel south to the New Jersey Cape. Upon arrival in Atlantic City, we will go to our accommodations for the next two nights at The Tropicana Casino Resort (1-888-275-1212), located right on the boardwalk. Everyone will receive a bonus of $30 in slot play and $50 in comp food credit. Must be 21 years or older to receive a bonus; bonus is subject to change without notice. Your evening is free.

Tues, December 9th

Today a full morning of holiday spirit is ahead of us as we make our way to Cape May. Our first stop at the Physick Estate for the Physick Family Christmas House Tour. This 1879 Victorian house museum sparkles for the holidays with authentic Victorian decorations that invite you to step back into Christmas past! The estate provides a unique living history experience with members of the Physick Family household of the 1890’s. We will also take in the Carroll Gallery Exhibit at the Physick Estate which becomes a Christmas wonderland this time of year. It’s all about the wonder of Christmas morning with the model trains and a Dept. 56 Dickens Village beneath the boughs of a giant tree. You can actually stand under their tree and feel like a kid again on Christmas Morning! Following our tour we will spend some more time at Washington Street Mall and enjoy lunch on your own. After lunch, indulge in the festive season with a delightful daytime self-guided walking tour. The Holiday Inns Tour grants you access to four (4) charming Cape May properties adorned with holiday decorations such as garlands, bows and Christmas trees. Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit as you explore these iconic properties in Cape May. A trolley shuttle will make a continuous loop during the tour. Dinner is included tonight at The Lobster House. Entree selections are 1) Crab Cakes 2) Stuffed Flounder or 3) Chicken Francaise, and all meals include non alcoholic beverage, bread and butter, house salad, Roasted Red Skin Potatoes & Green Beans Almondine. Following dinner we will depart on a Holiday Lights Trolley Ride! Board the trolley and enjoy a front row view of Cape May’s holiday decorations as our trolley winds its way through town. Listen to your guide and learn about exterior holiday decorations, wassailing/caroling, the evolution of Santa, traditions of gift givers and the history of Christmas. We will return to the Trop following our full day in Cape May.

Wed. December 10th

The day is your own to make the most of Atlantic City. Look, listen, and learn about Atlantic City and its famous boardwalk and all the casinos have to offer. We will leave the area at 4pm with an approximate arrival time in the Capital District at 9:30pm. One stop each way.
