The Plimoth Patuxet Museums in America's Hometown of Plynouth, MA, are a must-see New England destination, and what better time than during the season of Thanksgiving! Experience history in a new light at Plimoth Patuxet. An hour from Boston and a half-hour from Cape Cod, the world-renowned living history museum boasts ocean views, sweeping historic landscapes, and the newly-restored Mayflower II docked downtown in Plymouth Harbor. It's a re-creation of the small farming town built by English colonists in the midst of the Wampanoag homeland. Find yourself immersed in the year 1627 and converse and interact with the Pilgrims and Native Americans as they go about their daily tasks on your self-guided tour of the museums. Costumed guides are appointed throughout, and will share the history of the first settlers. Next savor a Thanksgiving buffet lunch including roasted native turkey with cornbread stuffing & giblet gravy, whipped Red Bliss mashed potatoes, oven roasted root vegetables, homestyle cranberry sauce, pumpkin & apple pie, lemonade, water & fresh coffee. After lunch we will visit the Mayflower II  in Plymouth Harbor & enjoy a self guided tour. We will depart for home at 5pm with an approximate arrival in the Capital District at 9pm. One stop on return.

Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability. Weather appropriate clothing is recommended, as well as flat comfortable shoes.
