One of the largest French-speaking cities in the world, Montreal is a vibrant cultural center with diverse museum offerings. Other popular sites are Old Montréal and the Old Port with loads of shopping and an abundance of fine dining; Olympic Stadium; and Ste-Catherine Street, the main commercial street downtown, and fabulous shopping destination. “Reso dans la ville souterraine” (City Underground) is a 30-kilometer network of boutiques, cafes, theatres, hotels and shopping centers, even a university. Montréal is as romantically traditional as it is cutting-edge innovative, as cosmopolitan dynamic as it is small-town friendly. Yet despite this diversity, an underlying homogeneity exists in this vibrant population who collectively and confidently “live and let live” and do it well. This tour to Montreal is what you make of it, so don’t miss this chance to see this city!
