On this tour, we are joining our friends at Atlantic Tours in The Atlantic Provinces and offering an amazingly comprehensive tour of Newfoundland and Labrador that features the best of “the Far East of the Western World”.  We will fly from Boston to Halifax, Nova Scotia and then travel to the northernmost tip of the island of Newfoundland to the most easterly point in North America through national parks – including Gros Morne, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Learn of ancient peoples – the Maritime Archaic, Vikings and Basques – as we travel to coastal fishing communities and meet the friendly and hospitable people of today.  Boat tours will provide the opportunity to see whales, thousands of seabirds and depending……the possibility of icebergs! This will truly be a Journey to Remember!

Please note: This tour includes a considerable amount of walking and standing. Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability. Weather appropriate clothing and cap are recommended, as well as flat comfortable shoes.
