A National Historic Landmark, the recently renovated Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum is one of the 24 aircraft carriers built during World War II for the U.S. Navy.  After decommission plans were made to save the carrier from being scrapped, it opened as a museum in 1982.  The USS Intrepid houses a large collection of aircraft including a Navy F-14 Tomcat, Polish MiG-21 and an Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon.  Also included in your admission is entry to the Space Shuttle Enterprise, the original NASA orbiter that paved the way for America’s successful space shuttle program as well as an exhibit on the Enterprise.

The bus will depart from Bryant Park on 42nd St between 5th & 6th Ave behind the NY Public Library.  You are on your own to get yourself to the park in time to depart.  This can be done by walking, taxi, subway, Uber/Lyft.  It's 1.2 miles (30 min walk).
