Follow in the footsteps of famed archaeologist Howard Carter, as he unlocked the inner rooms, beheld the great treasures within and came face-to-face with the pharaoh's mummy. See replicas of the king's nested coffins, view his notorious death mask and learn why the ancients went to such an extent to preserve their dead. Light your torch, break the seal, defy the "mummy's curse" and enter — if you dare. By Discovering King Tut's Tomb you'll unearth the sights, sounds and wonders of ancient Egypt.

Now that the original King Tut artifacts are forever entombed in the new Grand Egyptian Museum and the government of Egypt has decreed that they will never travel out of Egypt again, these handmade original replicas, made by Egyptian craftsmen passed down over generations and created in the same manner as the originals, offer guests the only opportunity outside of Egypt for this type of experience.  You will have time on your own before and after your exhibit entry at 1:00pm.   There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance for lunch.

The bus will drop off as close as possible to the exhibit, located at The Saunders Castle at Park Plaza, 130 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA 02116.  It is 1.2 miles back to Quincy Market from the exhibit space.  This is approximately a 30-minute walk or you can utilize a taxi/Uber/Lyft.  Or it is a short walk combined with the T will take about 20 minutes.  Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes!
