Mon, December 5:

Following an included breakfast at the Holiday Inn, our journey continues to Louisville, KY and our first Christmas encounter…. the Mega Cavern for Lights Under Louisville! Every year the Cavern is transformed into an underground holiday light spectacular for the Christmas season. Our accommodations this evening are the Drury Inn, Louisville with Drury’s famous dinnertime “Kickback” with a rotating menu of light evening food choices included.

Tues, December 6:

A Drury hot breakfast buffet is included this morning before our departure for Memphis, TN with our first stop at the Western Tennessee Heritage Center, home of a one room schoolhouse attended by a young Anna Mae Bullock, (aka Tina Turner) where a collection of the Queen of Rock’s personal memorabilia, costumes, gold records and her high school yearbook are on display. Our accommodations for the next two evenings are the Guest House at Graceland. This evening we will join with other tour groups for a very special Blue Christmas Holiday Dinner Show. This feature is an Elvis Holiday Tribute Show, with many of Elvis’s favorite Christmas songs as well as some of his greatest hits performed by a live-band and sensational Elvis tribute artist.

Wed, December 7:

Breakfast is included at the Guest House at Graceland before we are off to witness a Memphis iconic tradition, the March of the Peabody Ducks! Known world-wide, the Peabody Hotel’s famed ambassadors take their elevator ride and make their red carpet walk to John Philip Sousa’s King Cotton March arriving at the travertine marble fountain in the Peabody’s Grand Lobby! We will also be joined by a Memphis Mojo musician tour guide who will show the sights of the city while singing history and stopping at Sun Studios. There will be time for lunch on your own on Beale Street, Home of the Blues and a stop at the Memphis Rock n’ Soul Museum, part of the Smithsonian Institution . The highlight of our time in Memphis will, of course, be the Holiday Lights Tour of Graceland Mansion exclusively made available after hours for this privately arranged tour group event! Holiday decorations in the Mansion are so much more beautiful at night with the interior decked out in red velvet drapes and Presley family artifacts arranged just as Elvis would. The evening also includes a Memphis Barbecue buffet dinner in the Elvis Presley Memphis Complex. While in the Complex you will be able to tour the Presley Motors Automobile Museum, the Elvis the Entertainer Career Museum and the Elvis Discovery Exhibits.
