Washington, D.C. is more than just the nation’s capital; it's home to more than 150 embassies, chancelleries, and diplomatic residences where colors, cultures and languages come together to create a unique, friendly, and diverse atmosphere. This was the first planned city in America, designed by Pierre L'Enfant in the later 1700's, and was essentially carved out of swampland. Today, Washington is a diverse showcase of all that is best about America. Whether this is your first trip to Washington or you are a frequent visitor, the area is an exciting potpourri of interesting things to see and do. Sign up today to join in the fun on our tour to the nation’s capital!

Participants must be able to walk to the monuments which can be up to a 1/2 mile from our bus.  Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability.
