Each and every spring, the City of Ottawa celebrates with their annual Tulip Festival. Located in the southeastern part of the province of Ontario, Ottawa is on the southern bank of the Ottawa River opposite the city of Hull, and is situated on a bluff above the Ottawa River. Both the Rideau River and the Rideau Canal flow through the city. May is Tulip Month throughout the Capital of Canada, and the tulips show off the bounty of spring. Start your spring with a bang at with an extravaganza of floral delights!

Following a buffet breakfast at the hotel this morning, we will travel to Ottawa, Canada's Capital City. PLEASE NOTE: Due to Border Crossing, a NYS Enhanced Drivers License or a Passport are required. Here a local guide will join us for a 3-hour tour where you are sure to see thousands of tulips in various colors which are a sure sign that spring has arrived! Highlights include the National Arts Centre, University of Ottawa, Lansdowne Park, Carleton University, Experimental Farm, Dow’s Lake, a fine view of the tulips from the water, and more! We will then return to the hotel. Dinner is on your own in the area this evening.
