Hop aboard the coach with new friends and old, and roll out for sunny Daytona Beach, Florida on this spectacular getaway. We will travel south to our first
night’s accommodations at the Comfort Suites Fredericksburg South (540-891-1112) in beautiful Fredericksburg, Virginia. Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Sat, February 23rd

A continental breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. We will then continue southbound, and into warmer weather to our accommodations at the
Hampton Inn, Bluffton, SC (843-705-9008). Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Sun, February 24th

Delight in a Hampton Inn lobby breakfast this morning; then we will continue on to Daytona Beach, FL to our deluxe accommodations at Daytona Beach Resort in Daytona Beach, FL. The DBR is a Jewel among Daytona Beach Hotels, and offers 322 spacious rooms and suites, four sparkling swimming pools, two bubbling Jacuzzis, a fully equipped fitness center, a detoxifying sauna, a rejuvenating on-site spa, and many more fabulous amenities. From your ocean view studio window, get an ample picture of the Intercoastal Waterway and a generous view of the beach. You’ll find your room’s space conveniently fitted for all your sleeping, living, and dining needs. The kitchenette comes equipped with a full sized refrigerator, microwave, 2 burner stove, and all the essential cooking utensils so you can prepare your meals right in your room. Today you will be free to relax, settle in and explore Daytona Beach at your own pace. For your first timers it’s your chance to orient yourself with the area and our veteran travelers can take this day to relax by the sea.

Tues, February 26th

The first part of your day is free to relax on the beach, explore the area on your own, or you may choose to travel to Daytona International Speedway for the All Access Tour (OPT J). On the 90-minute All Access Tour, guests will a unique opportunity to explore the 2.5-mile Speedway from a variety of vantage points. Take the rare opportunity to come face-to-face with the track as you visit the well-known start/finish line and 31-degree high banks or ride down pit road to get a close-up view of the pit stalls. This tour provides you with unprecedented access including a visit to the media deadline room, a photo in Gatorade Victory Lane and a look inside the world's first motorsports stadium as you hop onto one of the 40 escalators and are transported into the new frontstretch stadium for a stunning view of the trioval and infield. End the day by standing next to the car of this year’s DAYTONA 500 champion, left in the same condition as the day it conquered the World Center of Racing. After our tour we will depart for the hotel for some time to relax and freshen up before dinner tonight at Bubba Gump’s (OPT A) in Daytona Beach. The first Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant and Market opened in 1996 on Cannery Row in Monterey, California. They have since grown to include many notable locations throughout the United States and internationally. They are committed to providing a casual environment where everyone can enjoy a great meal and have some fun too; get ready for some Forrest Gump trivia! You will order off a set menu upon arrival. After dinner we will return to the hotel to relax.

Wed, February 27th:

This morning you can choose (OPT B) and travel to St. Augustine where you will explore this old historic city on your own. See St. George Street, an attractive reconstruction of the 1750-1845 period town, with its overhanging balconies and intimate walled gardens, and see where the Fountain of Youth is located. According to legend it is the exact spot that Ponce de Leon landed in 1513 and claimed the New World in the name of Spain. You’ll have free time for lunch and exploring on your own, or choose (OPT C) and embark on the Old Town Trolley Tour of the City. Sit back as the talented Old Town Trolley conductors share the history, attractions and sights of America's oldest city. The one hour tour features 23 stops and over 100 points of interest, and includes admission to the St. Augustine History Museum and “on and off” privileges at conveniently located stops. We will return to the hotel in the afternoon and you will have free time to relax. Must choose Option B in order to choose Option C. Tonight you have the option (OPT D) to dine with us at the Down the Hatch Seafood Company. A local favorite, this eatery offers authentic Florida dining with an amazing view. You will order off a set menu upon arrival.

Thurs, February 28th

The first part of your day is free to relax on the beach, explore the area on your own. Tonight why don’t you join us for dinner at Aunt Catfish’s (OPT E) which is located directly on the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway right in Daytona Beach. Feast on down home, fresh Florida seafood while enjoying the water view. You will order off a set menu upon arrival. After dinner you may return to the hotel or you take in a show (OPT F) with us at the Athens Theatre in DeLand, FL. We will have seating for the 7:30pm performance of Always, Patsy Cline. Country humor, warm emotions, and most of all a couple dozen of Patsy Cline’s best songs (including “Crazy,” “Sweet Dreams,” “I Fall to Pieces,” and “Walking after Midnight”) endear audiences to this widely produced show based on Patsy’s letters to a long-time fan—each letter ending with “Love Always, Patsy.” If you like country music (and in your heart of hearts, how can you help it), you will love this show.

Fri, March 1st:

This morning you will be on your own to enjoy the property and surrounding area. This afternoon you may choose to join us on a culinary adventure with Great Tasting Tours (OPT G). Prepare for a fun feast of food samples as you embark on an afternoon tour of sweet and savory fare! Make sure you come hungry as we taste specialties prepared by DeLand’s finest chefs and food artisans. The tour will be approximately 3 hours, include 8 stops, and will include a variety of indoor and outdoor experiences depending on the particular establishment and weather conditions. The tour will range about 1 mile total distance so please wear comfortable shoes as this is a walking tour. Following the tour we will return to the hotel and dinner will be on your own this evening.

Sat, March 2nd:

Enjoy a free morning to relax and enjoy the resort today before embarking on a one hour, Eco-History Pontoon Boat Tour (OPT H) this afternoon in Port Orange, FL. Sit back and relax on this one of a kind cruise led by a seasoned professional tour guide featuring an interactive narrative detailing the history and ecology of Spruce Creek and its surrounding area. Following our tour we will head back to the hotel for some time on your own before departing for dinner tonight at Don Pepper’s (OPT I). Get ready for an authentic Mexican experience with recipes straight from Degollado Jalisco. Following dinner the rest of the evening will be on your own.

Sun, March 3rd:

This morning we're off to the Daytona Flea & Farmers Market for bargains galore and those delicious Florida oranges to bring back to New York. After being ranked in the top 5 markets in the nation in USA Weekend, the Travel Channel added the Daytona Flea & Farmers to their top picks for markets throughout the world. With 1,000 booths and 600 vendors it’s no wonder why it’s a must see while in Daytona! Tonight you can choose (OPT K) dinner at The Funky Pelican. Located at Flagler Beach Pier, the ultimate oceanside dining and beach bar destination awaits you. After dinner the rest of the night will be on your own.

Mon, March 4th

Today enjoy your day with a shuttle to Walt Disney World pick your own park! (OPT L) (Transportation only, park admission is on your own). Spend an entire day at Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom. . Dinner tonight will be on your own)

Tues, March 5th

Your morning will be free today but this afternoon get ready to embrace your elegant side with a Victorian Tea at the Hotchkiss House and Historic Lilian Place (OPT M). Enjoy delicious petite sandwiches, deserts and flavored teas at the Hotchkiss house and then walk next door for a walk through tour of the 1884 Lilian Place Museum followed by a visit to the gift shop. We will return to the hotel later on for some free time before dinner at DJ’s Deck (OPT N), a family owned and operated local favorite seafood restaurant. After dinner you will be on your own for the rest of the night.

Wed, March 6th

Today we will have a full morning of touring ahead of us as we head to the Dunlawton Sugar Mill Botanical Gardens and the Deland Naval Air Station (OPT O). Explore the English Sugar Mill ruins surrounded by lush botanical gardens, native trees, a butterfly garden and collections of bromeliads, ginger and cacti. A rare human sundial allows visitors to stand next to the current month's tablet and with arms raised, the shadow will point to the time. The gardens feature the ruins of a 19th century sugar factory which contains the most complete sugar grinding machines in the country. Around every corner there are huge dinosaur statues, remnants of an amusement park from 1949-1952, Bongoland. After we will head to the Deland Naval Air Station Museum home to an impressive collection of historical artifacts, veterans’ mementos and military art that has grown steadily over the years. This afternoon we will return to the hotel for time to relax before dinner tonight at Sunsetters Riverfront Bar & Grill (OPT P). After dinner the rest of the evening is on your own.

Thurs, March 7th:

Today is a free day to relax and enjoy your last day in Daytona as you wish. Dinner tonight will be at Dustin’s BBQ (OPT Q), if you choose.

Fri, March 8th:

A continental breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. We will then continue southbound, and into warmer weather to our accommodations at the
Hampton Inn, Bluffton, SC (843-705-9008). Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Sat, March 9th:

We will travel north to our accommodations at the Comfort Suites Fredericksburg South (540-891-1112) in beautiful Fredericksburg, Virginia. Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Sun, March 10th:

A continental breakfast is included this morning before we leave. We will make lunch and rest stops enroute, with an approximate arrival time in the Capital District at 6pm
