Hop aboard the coach with new friends and old, and roll out for sunny Clearwater Beach, Florida on this spectacular getaway. We will travel south to our first night's accommodations at the Comfort Inn Fredericksburg South (540-891-1112) in beautiful Fredericksburg, Virginia. Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Sun, February 25th

A hot breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. We will then continue southbound, and into warmer weather to our accommodations at the Hampton Inn, Bluffton, SC (843-705-9008). Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Mon, February 26th

A Hampton Inn lobby breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. The Florida state line is just ahead of us and today we check into our accommodations for the next eleven days at the beach front Quality Inn Beach Resort, Clearwater Beach, FL (727-442-7171)! This Clearwater Beach hotel near Beach Walk allows you to step outside onto sugar-white sand, take in the tranquil Gulf breezes, frolic in the surf or relax in one of their beach cabanas. Conveniently close to world-class golf courses, dolphin encounters, fishing charters and boat tours. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi, in-room microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig coffee maker. Enjoy their onsite International House of Pancakes restaurant,Tropix Beach Bar, and outdoor heated beachfront pool with beach access during your stay. Dinner will be on your own tonight.

Tues, February 27th

Today you are free to relax, settle in and explore Clearwater at your own pace. It’s your opportunity to orient yourself with the area and experience all the wonderful amenities the resort has to offer. You will spend each day on your own or enjoying one of the offered options. Dinner is on your own this evening.

Wed, February 28th

This morning Option A is a visit to Sarasota Jungle Gardens. Here you will find a wide variety of birds and animals, many of them rescues, within 10 acres of tropical landscaping connected by winding jungle trails. You’ll have the experience of a lifetime as you actually can walk up to and feed free roaming flamingoes. Enjoy animals and plant life with the exhibits offered here such as a Butterfly Garden, Koi Pond, Birds of Prey, Tiki Gardens, and Reptile House. There is sure to be something of interest to everyone! After everyone has gotten a little more in touch with nature we will head back to the hotel and the rest of your day is free. Option 1 for dinner this evening is at The Reef Steak and Seafood they offer the freshest local seafood and produce available and a full inside/outside bar and . You will order off a limited menu (Meal choices TBA). We will return to the hotel after dinner and the rest of your evening is free.

Thurs, March 1st

Today our travels will take us to Option B the Strawberry Festival. This is Florida’s most popular festival held in Plant City, FL featuring, as the name suggests, all things strawberry!. View exhibits, competitions, livestock shows, arts and crafts vendors and free entertainers. Once you’ve had all the strawberries you handle we will head back to the hotel and the rest of your day is free. Tonight we head to Option 2 dinner at Island Way Grill. They offer the freshest fish, making daily trips to bring back Tuna, Mahi, snapper, and other local varieties right to the property from the dock! Most of their cooking revolves around their oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. Menu Choices TBA. After dinner we will return to the hotel and your evening is free.

Fri, March 2nd

Head out to Option C for a 1 ½ hour Myakka Wildlife Tour. Travel aboard one of the world's two largest covered air boats, the "Myakka Maiden," or the "Gator Gal" for a scenic cruise on the Upper Myakka Lake. Discover what makes the Myakka unique among America's freshwater lakes. Hear intriguing stories about the alligator, anhinga, and sandhill crane as you become acquainted with the variety of creatures that make their home here. These air-powered vessels venture into the shallow, grassy areas where traditional crafts of such size wouldn't dare to go. The leisurely ride is so safe and smooth you'll have no problem taking photographs to bring home. Following the tour we will head back to the hotel and the rest of your day is free. Dinner tonight is at Option 3 Jimmy’s Fish House. A local favorite offering a fun atmosphere, delicious food and fantastic views of the lush landscape and Gulf of Mexico. Menu Choices TBA. After dinner we will return to the hotel and your evening is free.

Sat, March 3rd

Today we are departing for the Wagon Wheel Flea Market. This flea market has been around since 1966 and offers a vast variety of items such as Jewelry to Lawnmowers and everything in between! After a day full of treasure hunting we will head back to the hotel for time on your own. Option 4 is Dinner at The Texas Cattle Company Restaurant. At Texas Cattle Company, they select only USDA Prime and Choice three-year-old grain-fed and hormone-free beef, the best quality meat anywhere. After starting with the best beef, we age our steaks for a minimum of 4-6 weeks for tenderness and flavor. Next we'll trim, season and flame-broil them on their 1200°custom built Florida citrus and oak wood-burning pit, making them absolutely the best tasting steaks anywhere! (Meal Choices TBA) After dinner we will return to the hotel and you are on your own for the evening.

Sun, March 4th

This morning you may choose Option D and travel to Ybor City to discover the Old-World charm of this historical part of Tampa. Ybor City is suited for any taste, from authentic Cuban bakeries to historic cigar making shops. We will visit the Ybor City Museum located in the 1923-era Ferlita Bakery, its lush Mediterranean-style garden and the "casita," representative of a typical cigar-worker's family home. Historic Ybor City’s exotic blend of sights, sounds and rich history will make a lasting impression. Our day ends with dinner included at the fabulous Columbia Restaurant where you will order off the menu. Following dinner Flamenco dancers will perform! This promises to be a full and exciting day. After dinner and our Flamenco Show, we will return to our hotel. For those not selecting Option D, dinner will be on your own

Mon, March 5th

This morning get ready to bring out your inner thrill seeker and adventurer as we travel to Option E Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL. Your options for rides, theaters, restaurants, shops and animal exhibits are endless in this massive theme park. Take a ride on a roller coaster, travel to the serengeti on their safari ride, and take in incredible shows all in one place! Also home to one of the largest zoos in North America featuring more than 300 species! After everyone has had their fill of thrills we will head back to the hotel for time on your own. Option 5) Dinner is included at a local restaurant, location and menu choices TBA!.

Tues, March 6th

Today we are headed to Option F Dale Chihuly Collection at Morean Arts Center and Florida Craft Art. Located in St. Petersburg the CHIHULY COLLECTION at Morean Arts Center is a stunning, permanent collection of world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly’s unique artwork. The Collection includes Chihuly’s spectacular large-scale installations such as Ruby Red Icicle Chandelier created specifically for the Collection along with several popular series works including Macchia, Ikebana, Niijima Floats, Persians and Tumbleweeds. After that we will head on over to Florida Craft Art. Fine craft art is presented in the 2,500-square-foot retail gallery, as well as in a large gallery that features curated exhibitions and programming. On the second floor of the building are 19 artists’ studios (Artlofts) and a classroom/meeting room where workshops and lectures are held. Following our day we will head back to the hotel for some free time. Tonight Option 6) Dinner is included at a local restaurant, location and menu choices TBA!

Today is a free day; and dinner will be on your own.

Thurs, March 8th

Your moring is free. Then you may choose Option G; the often requested Yankees Spring Training Baseball Game at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. We will attend the 1:05pm Yankees vs. Phillies game with lower level seats (Section TBA). We will return to the hotel following the game. This evening Option 7) is a fabulous upscale buffet dinner at the Ocean Flame Buffet (located right next to our resort). Look forward to a crab leg station, seafood station, wok station, sushi bar, salad bar, dessert bar and so much more! Say farewell tonight at our last dinner on tour.

Fri, March 9th

We'll leave Florida and start heading north today to the Hampton Inn Bluffton- Sun City (843-705-9000), Bluffton, SC. Dinner will be on your own this evening. We kindly request that passenger’s pack an overnight bag for the next two nights, as the larger baggage will not be removed from the coach.

Sat, March 10th

A continental breakfast is included this morning, and then we will continue our journey north to tonight's accommodations at the Sleep Inn Southpoint (540)710-5500 in Fredericksburg, VA. Dinner will be on your own this evening. There are many choices within walking distance of the hotel

Sun, March 11th

A continental breakfast is included this morning before we leave. We will make lunch and rest stops enroute, with an approximate arrival time in the Capital District at 6pm.
