Friday, May 26:

Travel to Beachwood, OH and our overnight accommodations at the Hampton Inn & Suites Beachwood (216-831-3735), which features an indoor pool and hot tub. All rooms include coffee/tea maker and an iron & ironing board. Dinner is included tonight at Bob Evans Restaurant.

Saturday, May 27:

A hot breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. Today we will make our way to Millersburg, OH, home to Ohio's Amish Country. We will begin with a 30-minute guided history tour. Learn the history of how the Amish and Mennonite groups formed aided by the magnificent historic Cyclorama, one of only 6 cookbooks and Amish crafts. Next we will visit an Amish artisan basket maker for a demonstration on part of a narrated scenic back road tour. We will stop at Troyer's Country Market, an Amish Country staple offering everything from fresh baked goods to meats and cheeses, fresh produce, homemade ice cream, handmade soaps and jar goods. Wendell August Forge is our next stop. It's America's oldest and largest forge, producing hand-wrought ornamental metal-ware and elegant giftware in aluminum and other metals since 1923. Hammer your own keepsake then take a picture by the World's Largest Amish Buggy. Dinner is included tonight in a local Amish home. Savor homemade bread, peanut butter spread, garden salad with homemade dressings, roasted chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, Amish noodles, green beans and assorted pies for dessert. After dinner, we will travel to the Amish Country Theater. You'll laugh with comedian Lynyrd, a spotlight stealin' country bumpkin, who's as unpredictable than an Ohio spring. And don't forget the famous Amish comedy trio "The Beachy's" and Fannie Mae, who's parody songs and jokes about farm living will keep you laughing the whole way home. After the show, we will head to our accommodations for the night at the Berlin Grande Hotel in Berlin, OH (877-652-4997) which features an indoor saltwater pool and hot tub. Rooms feature hairdryer, iron and ironing board, microwave and coffeemaker.

Sunday, May 28:

A full breakfast is included this morning. Then we travel to Chicago, IL and our amazing accommodations at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago-Downtown (312-832-0330) located in the heart of downtown Chicago! Centrally located in the vibrant River North neighborhood with easy access to Chicago's hotspots this hotel offers an indoor pool, fitness center and rooms including a hairdryer, coffee maker and iron/ironing board. Enjoy lunch on our own at the famous Navy Pier which currently encompasses more than fifty acres of parks, gardens, shops, restaurants, family attractions and exhibition facilities. This afternoon we will visit the incredible Shedd Aquarium. Shedd combines the best of early 20th-century "age of aquariums" characteristics-a diverse, global animal collection surrounded by eye-popping architecture-with 21st-century advances in animal care, environments and interpretation. Meet 32,000 amazing animals and explore the world's oceans, rivers and reefs. Dinner is included at Tommy Gunn's Garage tonight. This is an Audience Interactive "Speakeasy" that offers a musical comedy review. We'll say "the password" to enter and after a delicious sit-down dinner, join "Vito", "Gloves", and da "gangsters" and da "flappers" for non-stop comedy and dangerous fun. Your meal choices are 1) Prime Rib, 2) Salmon, 3) Lasagna (Meat or Meatless) or 4) Boneless Breast of Chicken w/Lemon Herb Sauce or Mushroom Sauce. Each choice includes soup or salad, vegetable, potato, dessert and coffee, tea or soft drink. Please provide meal choice when booking.

Monday, May 29:

After breakfast this morning (included), a local guide will join us for the day. First, we will travel "up" to the SkyDeck of Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower). Offering spectacular views spanning up to four states, a one-stop Chicago experience full of interactive exhibits and...The Ledge, a glass balcony extending four feet outside the 103rd floor of Willis Tower! Next, we will embark on a 2 ½ hour tour of the city with a local guide. We will tour areas such as the Loop, featuring old and new architecture, Millennium Park with everyone's favorite, Anish Kapoor's Cloud Gate (also known as the "Bean"), and Planetarium Point. Enjoy lunch on our own at Water Tower Place featuring tons of shops and eateries. Our next visit will be to the Lincoln Park Zoo. The Lincoln Park Zoo is a world of wildlife in the shadow of skyscrapers. Hear a lion's roar echo off nearby apartment buildings, see gorillas climb trees as the Willis Tower looms in the distance, or forget where you are as you immerse yourself in tropical rainforests, dry-thorn forests or spacious savannas. We will return to the hotel for some time to relax and freshen up before dinner. Tonight we are in for a real treat with our included dinner at Maggianos. Maggiano's brings tastes of Little Italy to your table and is dedicated to providing you a scratch-made, authentic meal, just the way Italian-American grandmothers intended. Delight in a family-style menu featuring Fried Mozzerella and Bruschetta, Tossed-Italian and Chopped Apple Walnut Salads, Chef Mann's Country-style Pasta, Angel Hair Vegetable Primavera, Chicken Marsala, Baked Eggplant Parmesan, with Profiteroles & Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Tiramisu for dessert.

Tuesday, May 30:

A full breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. Today we will visit the Art Institute of Chicago, rated the #1 Museum in the World in 2014 by Trip Advisor! From their world-renowned French Impressionist collection to American art favorites like Grant Wood's American Gothic and from ancient treasures from across the globe to modern masterpieces by Dalí, Matisse, and Picasso, the museum has something for everyone-art experts and new museum-goers alike. Lunch is on your on at the museum. From fine dining to casual lunches and quick pick-me-ups, the Institute has a variety of dining options. This afternoon sail away on Wendella Boat Line's 90-minute signature cruise. This cruise is a comprehensive overview of Chicago, offering breathtaking views of the magnificent skyline and up-close perspective from the Chicago River. We will return to the hotel for some time to freshen up before dinner. Dinner is included tonight at the Rainforest Cafe. Enjoy your choice of 1)Caribbean Coconut Shrimp (served w/rice and vegetables), 2) ½ Rack of St. Louis style BBQ Ribs (w/fries), 3)Hickory Chicken (w/BBQ sauce, mushrooms, jack cheese, red skinned mashed potatoes and vegetables, 4)Rasta Pasta (grilled chicken, walnut pesto, broccoli, red peppers, spinach in garlic alfredo sauce) or 5)Macadamia-Crusted Tilapia (served w/rice and vegetables). Also included is spinach artichoke dip, Caesar salad, with Cheesecake for dessert.

Wednesday, May 31:

A full breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. We will then begin our journey home, and travel to Cleveland, Ohio and the Christmas Story House, now restored to its movie splendor. Directly across the street from the house is the official A Christmas Story House Museum, which features original props, costumes and memorabilia from the film, as well as hundreds of rare behind-the-scenes photos. Among the props and costumes are the toys from the Higbee's window, Randy's snowsuit, the chalkboard from Miss Shields' classroom and the family car. After reliving A Christmas Story at Ralphie's house don't forget to visit the museum gift shop for your own Major Award Leg Lamp and other great movie memorabilia. After the tour we will continue on to our accommodations for tonight at the Holiday Inn Cleveland Northeast-Mentor (440- 951-7333) in Mentor, OH featuring a heated indoor pool. All rooms include microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, a hairdryer and bath products. Dinner is included at the hotel tonight. Enjoy an entrée choice of 1)Marinated Chicken Breast, 2)Sliced Ham or 3)Homemade Meatloaf each served with salad, sides and dessert. Please provide meal choice when booking.

Thursday, June 1:

A full buffet breakfast is included at the hotel and we will depart for home. A stop will be made on the American Side of Niagara Falls en route home. Our approximate arrival in the Capital District will be at 6pm.
