Friday, May 17:

Yankee Trails welcomes you as we board the coach and travel east to the Northeast Coast. We will travel to our accommodations for the next two nights at the Boothbay Harbor Inn (207-633-6302). The Inn is located right on the water in downtown Boothbay Harbor, and is adjacent to the famous footbridge, which provides easy access to the center of town. Please note: This is a NON SMOKING property. You’ll have time to relax at the hotel or take a stroll and explore downtown before we savor dinner and at the hotel restaurant "Windows on the Harbor". You will order off a limited menu, Menu Choices TBA. All meals include Rolls, Garden Salad, coffee, tea, soft drinks, and dessert. The rest of your evening is free.

Saturday, May 18:

A full breakfast buffet is included at the Inn’s restaurant this morning. After breakfast a local guide joins us for a 90 minute narrated bus tour of this quaint coastal town, and shows us the highlights of Boothbay Harbor and Ocean Point. After the tour we’re on our own to have lunch and relax or explore more of the area. Next delight in a 1 1/4 hour Harbor Cruise with Seals & Lighthouses. Experience the thrill of seal watching in Maine on a delightful Boothbay Harbor Cruise. Explore summer colonies, lighthouses, and small islands as we venture out to witness seals on the ledges. Excitement awaits the whole family as we pass by 2 lighthouses, numerous islands, the stunning coastline, and both the inner and outer harbor. Don’t miss the chance to spot seals at the seal rocks! This evening we will feast on a Downeast lobster bake served on the waterfront, right at our hotel! Your meal will include 1 ¼ lb. steamed Maine lobster, New England Clam Chowder, Corn on the Cob, Baby Red Potatoes, Rolls & Butter, Dessert and Soft Drinks. Meal Choices: 1 ¼ lb. Steamed Lobster, Steak, or Chicken. Please give your entrée choice to our staff when making your reservation.

Sunday, May 19:

A full breakfast buffet is included at the Inn this morning. Then we will travel to Ogunquit for the day where you will have time on your own for shopping, lunch or just relaxing. You may also want to stroll along the lovely Marginal Way and explore Perkins Cove. We will leave at 2:30pm and continue to the Capital District with an approximate arrival at 8:30pm. One stop each way.
