Join us on a splendid trip to the Thousand Islands region of New York State to experience the natural beauty and history of this great area. We’ll travel to Alexandria Bay for a delicious lunch at the Riveredge Resort. Your meal choices are 1) Bistro Chicken (sauteed chicken breast with roasted cherry tomatoes & creamy pesto sauce), 2) Sliced Pork Loin (slow roasted and topped with a pineapple chutney), 3) Haddock Skaneateles (baked Haddock with white wine -butter sauce & cracker crumble), or 4) Classic Cavateli (with creamy alfredo sauce and broccoli florets). Each includes garden salad, fresh rolls, beverage (iced tea, lemonade, soda or coffee), and dessert. After lunch, we’ll embark on a 2 hour & 15 minute cruise through the 1,000 Islands. A professional guide will unfold a colorful history of the river, the islands, and the magnificent lakefront homes that you’ll view on this special tour. The tour will stop at Boldt Castle on Heart Island where you may tour the home and grounds on your own. A shuttle back from Heart Island is included.
